This is the person who plays the drums
drummer
This is the area where the singers, musicians or actors perform. It is usually higher than the floor.
stage
These are the singers who accompany the lead singer. They usually stand at the back of the stage.

This is a piece of equipment which the sound comes out of. It uses electricity and it’s usually on the stage.
speakers
This is the person who plays an instrument that looks like a piano but it’s electric.
keyboard player
This is a strong light which you can move to focus on one person or part of the stage. You use these lights in the theatre or at concerts.
spotlight
This is the person who plays an instrument with six strings. They hold this instrument with one hand and touch the strings with their other hand.
guitarist
This is an instrument which you hit to make a sound. You usually use sticks to play this instrument.

This is a person who sings at the front of the stage.
lead singer
This is the object which the singer holds. It helps make the singer’s voice louder.
microphone
This is an instrument which looks like a piano. This instrument uses electricity.
keyboards
This is an instrument that has got a long neck and six strings. This instrument uses electricity.
