Why do we need energy?
We need energy for everything to move, to grow, to breathe and to do all other life processes.

Heat energy, light energy, sound energy

What is energy transfer?
When energy moves from one thing to another, for example heat from the tea to the cup

Where do people get energy from?
We get energy from the food we eat
Where do plants get energy from?
Plants use light energy from the Sun to make or produce their own food
Why are plants called producers?
Because they can make their own food
Why are animals and people called consumers?
Because we cannot make our own food, we need to eat other plants or animals
