What are prejudice and discrimination?
Not treating everyone equally, taking their rights away because of a certain trait they have.
Why can health be seen as a global issue?
Not everyone has access to basic healthcare, especially during times of war or famine.
What is deforestation?
Loss of trees around the world.
What are some reasons deforestation occurs?
Farms, constructions, cities, using wood for products, illegal logging...
Why are trees important?
They give us oxygen, absorb water to prevent flooding, homes to animals, cool the planet (shade)..
What are some consequences of deforestation?
Disturbance to the water cycle, environmental (air pollution), loss of homes...
What are some solutions to deforestation?
Fight illegal logging, reforestation, sustainable practices, greening of urban areas..

Amount of matter in a material.
