How do simple machines work?

They use our energy to work/ We have to use our energy to make them work.

How do complex machines work?

Most of them use electricity to work.

Does a simple machine have many different parts?

No, it doesn't. It has only a few parts.

We use a pair of scissors to cut paper

We use a stapler to attach/ stick paper sheets together
