The Warden makes the boys dig twice in X-Ray’s area
Because she hopes for more treasure

Because she wants deeper holes
The Warden knows all the boys’ names
Because Zero reports to her
Because she reads their mail
Because Mr Sir tells her daily

Stanley thinks the tube looks familiar
Because it resembles a lipstick tube
Because he saw it in a dream
Because he once owned one
Because it resembles a shotgun shell
The initials on the gold tube are K B

X-Ray pretends to find the tube in the morning
