Zero

how steep a line is; it tells how much the value goes up or down as you move along the graph.

a value less than zero; usually shown by numbers going down or below the x-axis.
Negative
a value greater than zero; usually shown by numbers going up or above the x-axis.

how fast something changes or happens (for example, distance per time).
