They get really frightened.

Do not worry, it's just the branches of a tree beating on the roof.
What's that dripping noise?
It's just a leaking tap.
What's that woofing noise?
It's a dog barking far away.
What's that snorting noise?
It's me trying to breathe with my blocked nose
I say, feeling annoyed.
