I'm a soft place to sit, but I'm not a chair. You'll see me on the floor of classrooms everywhere.
Carpet or Rug
You can't go to school without me, you need me on your feet. Put me on and lace me up, walk down the halls or street.
Shoes
The leader at your school, guides teachers and students too. Making sure things go smoothly and people are doing what they need to do.
Principal
I have a cover and pages, at the library check me out. Learn new things and read stories, that's what I'm all about.
Books
Put your books inside and throw me on your back. When you get to school, it's time to unpack.
Backpack
I'm a container just for you to pack some food inside. When you need your mid-day meal I can open wide.
Lunchbox
You will find me in school, I cut paper nice and small. I have sharp blades and a handle, I'm a crafting tool after all.
Scissors
I am large and yellow, I'll help you get to school. Sit nicely in your seat, that's a safety rule.
