I sit on your head, shiny and round, I keep you safe when danger’s around. Knights and soldiers think I’m neat, Without me, battles aren't complete! What am I?

I’m like a door you carry around, To stop the arrows coming down. I guard your body in a fight, And help you feel safe day or night. What am I?

I sparkle, shine, and look so cool, People wear me as a rule. Bracelets, brooches, earrings too — I’m shiny, pretty, and brand new! What am I?

I’m round and small and on your hand, A tiny loop, a golden band. Sometimes plain and sometimes bright, I sparkle in the morning light. What am I?

I wrap around your neck just right, I can be shiny, gold, or bright. I jingle-jangle when I swing — I’m a very special thing! What am I?

I’m round and shiny, made of gold, I was used in days of old. You’d trade me for a loaf of bread, Or save me in your purse instead. What am I?
