The Endurance was stuck in the ice and the crew free the ship by chopping up the ice. (Ch 2)

The Endurance crew stayed on their ship for 6 months before the ship broke apart. (Ch 2)

Because they had no food or supplies on the ship, several men died. (ch 2)
