One can take IELTS Academic (for University entry) IELTS General Training (for emigrating or working in an English-speaking country).
What is the difference between IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training?
Listening and Speaking are the same for both types. Reading and Writing are different.
Are all parts of the test taken on one day?
Listening , Reading, Writing are - in that order. Speaking might be taken up to 7 days before or after, depending on the centre.
What accents might you hear during the listening part of the exam?
British, Australian, New Zealand, American and Canadian accents
