How do we make past conditionals?
If + past perfect + would + have + past participle
Instead of if + past perfect, two of the conditional sentences (in paragraph 4 and 9) use alternative forms. What form are they?

Look at the conditional sentence in paragraph 6. Do both clauses refer to the past? What forms are used? Why do you think this is sometimes called a "mixed conditional"?
No, they don't. The first is past (If I had known...), but the second is present (I'd be selling...). Because it mixes time periods.
