U.S. Airways Flight 1549 took off from LaGuardia Airport
1 - FIRST STAGE
The plane hits a flock of birds. Both engines stopped working.
2. Second Stage
The pilot informed the air traffic controller that he had to make an emergency landing in the Hudson river
3. Stage Three
When the plane first hit the freezing cold Hudson River, it started to fill up with water. But everyone on the plane was able to get out of the plane and stand on the wings.
4. Fourth Stage
Police and rescue boats hurried to the plane and rescued all of the passengers. It was a miracle that everybody survived.
