In this lesson, we will practise telling a story (55-57). Practise /t/ /d/ /id/ of verb endings -ed
There are three different ways to pronounce verb endings in -ed
/t/ /d/ /id/
If the verb ends in voiceless sounds like /f/, /p/, /k/, /s/, /ʃ/ or /tʃ/
we pronounce the ''ed'' as /t/
If the verb ends in voiced sounds like /g/, /z/, /m/, /n/, /l/, /v/ or /r/
we pronounce the ''ed'' as /d/
If the verb ends in the sounds /t/ and /d/
we pronounce the ''ed'' as /id/
