The hydrosphere
All the water on earth. We can find water in oceans, rivers, lakes, glaciers and clouds.
The atmosphere.
The layer of gases that surround the earth.
The geosphere
All the rocks and land that make up the Earth. It forms the continents and landforms.
The biosphere
Includes every living organism on the Earth.
The troposphere
(1) Contains the air and oxygen we breathe. This is where atmospheric phenomena occur. Clouds rain and wind are in this layer.
The stratosphere
(2)Contains the ozone layer. This layer protects us from the harmful rays of the Sun. Aeroplanes fly here.
The mesosphere
(3) Protects life on the Earth from meteors and asteroids.
The thermosphere
(4) Is home to the International Space Station that orbits the Earth.
The exosphere
(5) Separates the rest of our atmosphere from outer space. Many artificial satellites orbit the Earth here.
