    This is not an appropriate instruction. I should not trip the peer.

    It is appropriate. I could help them carry their water if my hands are free.

    It it not an appropriate favor. I can help someone with their homework, but I cant do it for them.

  • A stranger asks you to help them find their dog. Is this an appropriate favor for them to ask?
    This is not an appropriate favor. I should not go anywhere with a stranger.

  • You are in school and you dropped your pen, is this a good time to ask your classmate to pick it up for you?
    You could ask for help if your hands are full. But, you should not ask for this favor if your classmate is busy, or you can do it yourself.

    No. I can make my own snack, or I can wait until she is off the phone to ask for help.

    You can but only if it is a trusted adult (someone who works at the park, a police offer, etc)
