What is matter? What is it made of?
Matter is everything around us that has a mass and occupies a space. It is made up of tiny particles called atoms.
What are the three different states of matter?
solids, liquids and gases

Describe solids.
Atoms are very close one to each other so they tend to stay in the same place. They have just a little energy.
Describe liquids
Atoms have a small space between them so they can move a little taking the shape of their container. They have some energy.
Describe gases
Atoms have a lot of space between them that is why they move a lot and they completely fill a container. They have a lot of energy
How can matter change from one state to another?
When we change the temperature of matter, atoms move and change their position.
What is sublimation? Give an example.
Sublimation is the change of a solid into a gas.
What is melting? Give an example.
