How much matter makes up an object. (similar to weight; how heavy something is)
What is volume?
How much SPACE an object TAKES UP.
What is buoyancy?
The opposite of density; when objects are less dense than the matter around them, they float.
How are mass and volume alike? How are they different?
They're both PROPERTIES of matter. Mass is the AMOUNT of matter, volume is the SPACE it takes up.
How do you know that your desk is made of matter?
