וַיִּזְעָקוּ
And they cried out
וַתַּעַל שַׁוְעָתָם
And their cries went up
יִתְרוֹ חֹֽתְנוֹ
יתרו his father in law
וַיִּנְהַג אֶת־הַצֹּאן
And he drove the sheep
בְּלַבַּת־אֵשׁ
In the heart of the fire
מִתּוֹךְ הַסְּנֶה
From inside the bush
אֶת־הַמַּרְאֶה הַגָּדֹל הַזֶּה
This great sight
שַׁל־נְעָלֶיךָ
Take off your shoes
הַמָּקוֹם
The place
וַיֵּאָֽנְח֧וּ בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל
And בנ''י groaned
אֶת־נַֽאֲקָתָ֑ם
Their cries
אחר המדבר
After the מדבר
להתרחק מן הגזל
To distance himself from stealing
שלא ירעו
That they shouldn't graze
בשדות אחרים
In other people's fields
