Color changes (pale, cyanosis), grunting, head-bobbing, tachycardia, nasal flaring, retractions, dyspnea, tachpnea.
What are the pediatric variations in the respiratory system anatomy that differs from an adult?
Narrower airways, shorter necks, large tongues, infants being nose and abdominal breathers, smaller/narrower nasal passages.
What are potential asthma triggers?
Pollen, smoking, exercise, mold, infections, food, medicines, dust mites, stress, pollution, pet dander, cold air.
