Gary woke up 30 minutes later than his alarm on a Monday. He rushed to get ready. He put on his clothes and grabbed a granola bar for breakfast. As he ran out the door, he saw his bus drive away.

Laila noticed that someone was picking on her friend Matt everyday in art class. People are calling him mean names and knocking his books off of his desk. Matt is getting very upset.

It is Friday night. Jessica is having a sleepover at Kennedy's house. She packed her bag and her mom dropped her off. When Jessica opened the bag, she realized she forgot her pajamas.

Jake went to the state fair with his family on Saturday.  They went on the ferris wheel and got cotton candy. Jake won a giant teddy bear. He thought his family was standing behind him, but when he looked around, he couldn't find them.

Marna is making chocolate chip cookies. She was mixing the batter, then realized that there are no chocolate chips in the cupboard.

Elena and Jack decided to play a board game. Elena wanted to play Guess Who and Jack wanted to play Jenga. The two friends started to argue and call each other names. Elena got upset and ran out of the play room.

Micah walked to and from school each morning. When he got to his front door, he realized his pocket was empty. He must've dropped his key on the path. The lights were off and no one was home.

Jason is going on a bike ride today with his friends. He went  to get his bike from the garage. The bike has a flat tire.

Paul is playing at your Jimmy's house. You accidentally bump into a counter and a glass jar falls on the floor and breaks and shatters everywhere.
