There is a choice of questions in part 1 of the Writing paper

There are short breaks between the first three written parts (Reading+UoE; writing; listening)

In part 4 of Use of English, you must use 2-5 words in each gap.

You aren't given extra time to copy your answers after you have finished the reading part.

How long is the Reading and Use of English paper?

To pass the First exam, you have to pass B2 level in ALL the different papers.

In the Speaking part, the maximum number of candidates is two.

In part 4 of Use of English, you don't have to copy all the 2-5 words that go into the gap to the answer sheet. You don't have to copy the word given in CAPS as it is already given on the question paper.

You must copy all the words to answer sheets in CAPITAL LETTERS.

Writing is the 2nd part of the First For Schools exam.
