Feelings and Coping Strategies
Help
How does your body tell you that you're feeling mad or angry?
Face feels hot, muscles get tense or tighten, clenched fists, wanting to scream or yell, wanting to punch/kick/throw.
A classmate is doing something that makes you upset or mad. What should you do?
Use a coping strategy and ignore them, ask staff for help, ask them nicely to "please stop."
One of your classmates looks sad today, what can you do?
Talk to them, share something with them, listen.
