A high school is for students aged between 14–18 years in the USA. A secondary school is for students aged between 11–18 years in the UK.
What's the difference: a pupil_a student
A pupil studies in a primary / secondary school. A student studies at a university, college, or evening class.
What's the difference: a term_a semester
A term is one of the three periods of the year during which classes are held. A semester is the two periods that the school is divided into USA.
