    Doesn't fully solve the problem, ignoring could make them confused/hurt. Say "I don't really want to talk."
  • During video game club, a student who annoys you starts telling you about a video game you already know about. You say, “Why are you telling me that?! I already know!”
    Rude/aggressive tone. Say, "Yeah, I've heard about that before"
  • During leisure, a student you aren’t friends with asks if they can join your game. You say, “No, we don’t want you here because you always make up rules.”
    Excludes the peer. Say, "Yes, but can we talk about the rules first?" or "We've already started, but you can join next time."
