A person who has recently arrived in a new country or educational system and is adapting to a new language and culture

Newcomer

A person who has been forced to flee their country due to persecution, war, or violence, and seeks asylum in another country.

Refugee

A person who moves to a new country with the intention of settling there permanently or for an extended period.

Immigrant
