    We can be more casual and use slang with friends. We use a respectful tone and vocabulary when speaking with teachers and adults.
  • Allen really wanted to have a cheeseburger and fries for dinner but instead they were having meatloaf. Allen took 3 breaths and thought, "I can have a cheeseburger another time." Is this an example of flexible or rigid thinking?
