What is the equator?
The equator is the line around the middle of the Earth. It divides the Earth into northern and southern hemisphere.
Why are there different times on different sides of the Earth or even within one country?
It’s because the world has different time zones.
What are the lines of latitude?
Lines of latitude go around Earth. They show us the distance from the equator.
