She was a mathematician. She worked on the first computer program in the 1800s, long before computers existed. She is called the world’s first computer programmer.
Ada Lovelace
She was the first woman to go to space. She traveled alone in a spaceship in 1963 and orbited the Earth 48 times. She showed that women can be astronauts too.
