What are the 3 conditions required to form a shadow?
1. Source of light, 2) Opaque Object, 3) A Surface
We cannot see light behind a brick wall. Give reason
Light travels in a straight line. It cannot bend around a brick wall
Hold a pipe or straw in front of a candle & see the flame. Now, bend the pipe.
Can you see the flame now? Why?
Light travels in a straight line. It does not bend when you bend the pipe.
