How we do know if we/someone else talk too little?

You're playing jump rope. You say to your friend, “I want a turn!” They say, “Let try a few more times, I almost got it!” You say, “No you don’t. Let me go!” They say, “A few more jumps and then you can go." You shout, "No, now!"

You’re in the library. You and your friends are laughing about a joke someone told. You teacher holds a finger to her mouth and whispers, “No talking, please. Others are trying to read.” You nod and say, “I will, sorry!”

Tom saw that his friend John was wearing a cast on his leg. Tom went up to John and asked, “Do you want to play?” John said, “Okay.”

Your friend says, “Can I show this drawing I made?” You say, “Sure ... Wow, this is so cool!” They say, “Thanks!” You  say, "It looks like you worked hard on this!” They reply, "Thank you, I did!"
