Lexi often gets lost in her own world. Sometimes she uses her hands like puppets and talks to herself, or pretends her hands are spaceships. You are sitting next to her at an assembly and she started talking to herself. It’s hard to focus.

Tony has a hard time paying attention in class. He is really smart, but gets distracted easily and blurts out answers. He has a bin of things by his desk that look fun to play with, and uses them anytime. You are starting to feel jealous.

The fire alarm is going off and Casey covers her ears and starts to stomp her feet. You and your teacher are right next to her.

You see Titus in the hallway flapping his hands. Two girls are staring at him. You know he sometimes does this when he feels nervous.

Your class is working on a project and you are using a glue stick and scissors. You notice Kayden cannot get his glue stick open and he is starting to cry quietly.

David uses a wheelchair to get around. You walk past him in the hallway and he is sitting outside his classroom alone and the door is closed. You’ve seen him open doors before, and he does not say anything to you as you walk by.

Armani is in your class. Sometimes he leaves with a teacher that you don’t really know and is gone for a long time. Sometimes another teacher sits by him in your classroom too. You wonder if it is okay to ask that teacher for help.

You are playing a board game with Jose. He often gets distracted and forgets to take his turn.

You are in the library with Yolanda. You know she loves to read. You also know sometimes she has difficulty making a quick choice. You can only take one book out at a time. Yolanda is holding 3 books and you notice her body looks tight.

Dan often repeats what someone says before answering. You understand that it helps him focus on what you are saying. Piper thinks it’s weird and says you should not talk to him anymore.

Samson is sitting alone at recess. You asked him to play last week and he just quietly stared at you. Your friends are about to play tag and you know Samson is good at running.

You are waiting in line to get on the bus. Ollie is behind you and is singing a song from a baby show out loud. Some of the other kids are staring at him.
