My grandmother gave me my blepice when I was a baby. Everyone in my family has their own blepice. We each hang ours by our stairs at Christmas because we don’t have a fireplace. My blepice is a long, red, skinny sock.

Last July, I went with my family to our town celebration to watch the blastos. We had so much fun watching the bright explosions in the sky! However, my dog was so scared from the loud sounds from the blastos.
