Every Saturday the Garcia's go bowling with their friends. Mr. Garcia usually gets the best score, but this week his friend Mr. Baker bowled a perfect game. Both families celebrated with pizza and drinks.

The Peters family went on a cruise to Alaska. They saw whales and icebergs. The weather was colder than they expected, so they had to by some new coats and warm shoes.

When the bell rang, everyone but Marco entered the classroom. Mr. Fields ask Marco why he was still in the hall. He said he forgot his homework and he didn't want to get into trouble. He said it was ok and he could pass it in next class.

Jake was happy when his grandma finally arrived. He had worried because she was late. She told Jake and his family that her plane left New York later than expected.

At around 8PM, the Parkers hurried to the basement. During the storm they heard a big bang. When they came up from the basement they were relieved to see there was no damage in the house, but a tree had hit their new car.

Mr. Smith loves to garden. Last weekend, he planted flowers in the front yard and tomatoes by the house. In a few months, he will be able to make his own salsa.

The team was very excited to play in the big tournament on Saturday. The drive to Charlotte took about 3 hours and when they got off the bus, the boys were happy to see that their hotel had a pool.

Sam and his family go to Rico's Pizzeria every Friday. They order two pizzas. One is always pepperoni and the other is always a surprise. Last week's surprise was ham and pineapple. Yum!

Jamie and Ashley were going to zoo on Friday afternoon. They hoped to see the polar bears. When they got to the zoo, the polar bears were sleeping, so the went to see the penguins instead.

Sofie found a box by the door when she got home from school. It had her name on it and she was surprised. She opened the box to find a new gaming console and two games. She started to look forward to the weekend so she could play!
