Your Mom worked hard on dinner. She is making meatloaf...you hate meatloaf. You say "This food is disgusting! I'm not going to eat it."

During announcements, several people in your class are talking so loudly that you can't hear what is being said. "You say "I can't hear the announcements"

A couple of boys have been picking on you for a few days now. Every day it is something else with them. You turn to them and say "can you please just leave me alone?"

After lunch, you head outside and see a group of students playing basketball. You want to play. You say "Can I play?"

Your grandma gives you the ugliest sweater you have ever seen and when you open it, you say "Holy cow...is that ever ugly!"

Your friend is embarrassed because he scored in the wrong basket in gym. Kids are laughing at him. You say "I would be embarrassed too...That's why we lost!"

You are working through a very difficult assignment in math. Then your teacher gives the class a NEW assignment. You can tell you are getting more frustrated. You ask, "Can I take a break?"
