Ruby looked up after the rain. She saw a rainbow! It had red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. Ruby ran inside. “Mom! Look at the rainbow!” she said. Ruby and her mom went outside to see the rainbow before it faded away.

Robby had a red racecar. He rolled it across the rug. “Vroom! Vroom!” Robby said. He raced the car up a ramp. The racecar zoomed down and rolled under the table. Robby reached under and grabbed it. “Ready to race again?” he asked.

A little brown squirrel ran across the yard. He was looking for acorns. Rustle, rustle! He heard a noise in the tree. A big bird flapped its wings. The squirrel ran up the tree and into a safe hole. “Whew! That was close!” he said.

Ryan built a rocket from a big red box. He drew stars on it with a marker. “Three, two, one, blast off!” Ryan roared. He pretended to fly to the moon. “I am an astronaut!” Ryan said. He twirled and jumped like he was in space.

Ricky had a red robot. The robot could run really fast. Ricky raced the robot in the yard. “Ready, set, run!” Ricky said. The robot ran round and round. Ricky laughed. “You are really fast!” he said.

Rosie woke up and ran to the window. It was raining! Rosie grabbed her raincoat and rain boots. She ran outside and jumped in a big puddle. “Rainy days are the best!” Rosie said. She twirled in the rain and watched the raindrops fall.
