Why did the Prophet (s) recommend to not skip suhoor even if it’s just water?

The following dua was taught to us by Prophet Muhammed SAW أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَكُمُ الصَّائِمُونَ وَأَكَلَ طَعَامَكُمُ الأَبْرَارُ وَصَلَّتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ Tick all the things we pray for someone who offers us meal for iftaar.
