The Curse of Comparison

I am writing in response to the recently published article on measures needed to ensure the safety of elderly residents in our neighbourhood.

Being able to take a year off to travel was beyond my wildest dreams, so when I saw a job advertising exactly that I leapt at the chance to apply for the position.
