Your teacher tells you to rewrite parts of your paper. You think she's being too picky. You roll your eyes at her, and make a face.

Jim is a classmate that always makes fun of how your grades. He thinks he's being funny but it really upsets you. You just 'roll with it' and try to ignore it, even though it's embarassing.

Your teacher just taught you some new reading strategies last week. But you forgot some of it and ask him to review the steps with you again.

Your mom wants you to take the trash out. She's been nagging you all day about it. The 3rd time she brings it up you tell her "Seriously mom - LIGHTEN UP. I'll get to it whenever!"

Your best friend borrowed $10.00 from you two weeks ago, and keeps "forgetting" to pay you back. You tell him that you really need your money back to buy your lunch today.
