I am a mode of transport but I am not very wide. I’ve got an engine and two wheels.  I’m something you sit astride

This has a saddle and a chain, and two pedals either side. Its two wheels have many spokes. It’s something on which you ride

I’m a transport you don’t have to drive, which means you can sit back and relax. I can take you across the country, not in the air but along some tracks. 

If you’re in a city, this is something you might grab. In New York it’s yellow and It’s also known as a cab

When people board this type of transport, in two different cabins they are split. It has wings, a nose and a tail, and the pilots fly in a cockpit

Before there were cars and trains, this was how people got around. They’d get up on a saddle, take its reins and then hooves would pound

This is a special kind of transport, sometimes used in an emergency as they’re able to fly and hover.  They can put out fires rescue people lost at sea

If you travel on one of these, an astronaut you must be, as it takes you to outer space where there’s zero gravity

This vehicle makes frequent stops, so getting to places can be slow. In London they’re usually red. The ones you take to school are yellow
